Abstract
This study aims to elaborate pertinent issue regarding the teaching skills of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HoTS) among Islamic Education teachers in secondary schools. Planning and implementation of HoTS are two major problems highlighted in the past study. Based on the overall findings of the study on teaching integrating HoTS, Islamic Education teachers need to have the necessary skills in implementing the best practices accurately based on the comprehensive current curriculum information.
