Journal of Al-Tamaddun (JAT) is an open-access, peer-reviewed research journal published by the Department of Islamic History, Civilization and Education, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. JAT published high-quality research articles and book reviews within the scope of Islamic History and Civilization.

Volume 21 No. 1 (2026) of JAT was available online on 31 March 2026 with 22 full length papers and 1 book review. Articles in this issue were authored by 67 authors from multiple affiliations and 10 countries i.e: Malaysia, Indonesia, USA, The Netherlands, Turkiye, UAE, Iraq, Kosovo, The Philippines and Australia.
